Fifty serving officers from junior, mid-level and senior ranks took part in a mental-health and resilience workshop and received welfare food support. A further 20 children of deceased police officers benefited from the organisation’s Fallen Heroes Education Support Scheme. Bayelsa State Commissioner of Police Ajao Saka Adewale described the intervention as significant support for police personnel and families who had lost relatives in active service.
He said it complemented welfare efforts associated with Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Rilwan Disu.
