KSRTC to start overnight Bengaluru–Bhagamandala Rajahamsa service

The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation will introduce a new Rajahamsa bus service connecting Bengaluru with Bhagamandala in Kodagu from October 1, 2026. According to the KSRTC Bengaluru Central Division, the service will operate from Shantinagar Bus Stand in Bengaluru and provide a direct overnight connection to Bhagamandala. The bus will travel via Mysuru, Hunsur, Kushalnagar, Madikeri and Karagunda.
It will leave Shantinagar at 10.30 p.m., reach the Mysuru Road Bus Stand at 11.16 p.m. and arrive in Madikeri at 5.15 a.m. The scheduled arrival at Bhagamandala is 6.15 a.m.
On the return journey, the bus will depart Bhagamandala at 8.30 p.m. and reach Madikeri at 10 p.m. It is scheduled to arrive at Shantinagar Bus Stand at 4.30 a.m.
The corporation has fixed the adult fare from Bengaluru to Madikeri at ₹545, with children charged ₹296. The fare from Bengaluru to Bhagamandala will be ₹608 for adults and ₹328 for children. KSRTC said the service details were contained in a release issued by the Bengaluru Central Division.
