Lagos APC takes 2027 Tinubu-Hamzat mobilisation message to Chicago

The Lagos State All Progressives Congress campaign organisation for President Bola Tinubu and Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat has taken its 2027 mobilisation campaign to Nigerians in Chicago, United States. The engagement followed the inauguration of the Chicago chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors Diaspora, according to a statement by Ayodele Tinubu, publicity secretary of the diaspora campaign committee for PBAT-KOH. Gbolahan Gbadamosi, director of the Lagos State APC PBAT-KOH Special Duties Committee on Diaspora, led the campaign message.

The meeting brought together Nigerian diaspora members and APC supporters, with APC UK chairman Tunde Doherty also present. Gbadamosi urged Nigerians abroad to engage their families, communities and networks in Nigeria on government policies and programmes. He called for informed participation in the 2027 elections and argued that the Tinubu administration had undertaken reforms and interventions in the economy, education and infrastructure.

He also called for continuity of the administration’s reforms and said Lagos should maintain its development trajectory. He described Hamzat as a politician with extensive knowledge of Lagos and its governance structures. Doherty expressed confidence in the APC candidates and urged Nigerians to remain engaged with the democratic process.

He called for continued communication of the party’s policies and support for Tinubu, Hamzat and other APC candidates. The statement said the Chicago meeting was part of wider diaspora mobilisation by the Lagos State APC PBAT-KOH Campaign Council. It added that participants discussed collaboration, information-sharing and the role of Nigerians abroad in political and development conversations.
