Nigeria internationals Rasheedat Ajibade and Jennifer Echegini scored in Paris Saint-Germain’s 3-1 victory over Fleury in France’s Première Ligue. Echegini headed PSG’s second goal in the 36th minute before Ajibade extended the lead after the break, helping the club claim a fourth straight domestic win.

Super Falcons players Rasheedat Ajibade and Jennifer Echegini scored for Paris Saint-Germain in a 3-1 victory over Fleury in the Première Ligue on Sunday. Echegini doubled PSG’s advantage in the 36th minute when she headed home for her first goal of the campaign. Ajibade then added the third goal in the 58th minute, registering her third league goal of the season.

Fleury scored late in the match, but PSG held on to secure all three points. The result preserved the club’s perfect start to the domestic season, with four victories from four matches. Ajibade has also scored in European competition this week.

She found the net during PSG’s 5-0 win over OH Leuven in the UEFA Women’s Champions League on Thursday, giving her goals in consecutive matches. The Nigerian pair’s contributions have strengthened PSG’s early-season run, with both players making decisive impacts in the victory over Fleury. Echegini’s goal opened her league account, while Ajibade continued a productive start in front of goal.

The match added to the growing role of the two Super Falcons midfielders in the French club’s campaign. PSG’s four-match winning record leaves the team with a perfect points haul at this stage of the domestic season, while Fleury managed only a late consolation goal.
