The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms and Ashraya Hastha Trust have selected 11 start-ups for a climate-focused initiative. The companies will be eligible for funding of up to ₹50 lakh, laboratory access, mentorship and scaling support for work involving emissions, healthcare, agriculture and sustainability.

The Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms, in collaboration with Ashraya Hastha Trust, has selected 11 start-ups for an initiative focused on climate action and sustainability. The selected companies will receive support intended to help develop and scale their technologies. The package includes funding of up to ₹50 lakh, access to high-end incubation laboratories, scientific and business mentorship, assistance with market deployment and opportunities to connect with industry stakeholders.

The selected start-ups are Genepath Diagnostics India, Prodancy, AeroDel Technology Innovations, Intello Labs, String Bio, Tealaa Innovations, Ossus Biorenewables, BPC Bio Bioproducts, Earthkind Foods Biotech, Intrinsic Foundries and Bisket Labs. According to C-CAMP, the companies are working on solutions aimed at reducing greenhouse-gas emissions and carbon footprints. Their areas of work also include climate-resilient healthcare and sustainable agriculture.

C-CAMP Director and Chief Executive Taslimarif Saiyed said the cohort represented deep-science innovations addressing challenges involving agriculture, food security, public health and sustainability. He said the organisation intended to provide the start-ups with an ecosystem and support to help them expand their work. C-CAMP has also opened a further application round for climate innovators in 2026.

The call is aimed at field-ready solutions operating across climate change, the environment, health, agriculture and sustainability. The next round will offer support of up to ₹50 lakh for joint projects involving on-field technology validation. C-CAMP also said applicants could receive government and industry connections, pilot facilitation and wider ecosystem access to support future partnerships and scale-up.
