More than 30 women entrepreneurs from different sectors will showcase clothing, handmade goods, crafts and food products at a two-day Vendor Development Programme in Visakhapatnam. The event will also offer sessions on compliance, business awareness, marketing, networking and possible collaboration for entrepreneurs and small businesses.

More than 30 women entrepreneurs will present their products at a two-day Vendor Development Programme in Visakhapatnam on October 2 and 3. The programme will take place at the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub’s Deck Building in Siripuram, according to Prakash, a representative of the hub. The exhibition will run from 1 p.m.

to 8 p.m. on both days. Participating entrepreneurs come from different sectors and will display clothing, handmade articles, art and craft products, and food items.

The food products will include cakes, biscuits and other home-based goods. The organisers said the event would also include sessions on compliance requirements and marketing opportunities. Those sessions are scheduled from 1 p.m.

to 3 p.m. during the programme. The first day will feature discussions on business awareness, networking and professional work.

The second day will include product demonstrations, further networking and opportunities for collaboration, according to the organisers. Special stalls have been allotted to women entrepreneurs so that they can showcase their products and interact directly with visitors. The organisers said the programme was intended to help participants build contacts and develop business relationships.

Entrepreneurs, micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups and other business owners will be able to explore products and identify possible commercial connections at the event. The supplied material does not provide details about the number of visitors expected, the participating businesses’ locations or any sales targets. It also does not state whether similar programmes will be held after the two-day event.
