The new undergraduate programmes are Nursing Science, Public Health, Community Health, Medical Laboratory Science, Radiography and Physiotherapy.
The approved postgraduate programmes are Finance, Marketing and Mass Communication. The vice-chancellor described the decision as a significant milestone in the university’s development. He said the programmes would expand Crawford’s academic portfolio and strengthen its contribution to human-capital development.
“Today, with gratitude to God and appreciation to the National Universities Commission, I am pleased to announce that all six undergraduate health sciences programmes and the three postgraduate programmes presented for Resource Verification have received approval for commencement in the 2026/2027 Academic Session,” Makinde said. The announcement was made as educators and scholars gathered at the university for the IALE conference. Crawford University is a private Christian institution established by the Apostolic Faith Mission and licensed by the National Universities Commission in April 2005.
