FirstBank says it is acting as a receiving bank for the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals IPO, which comprises 4.1 billion shares priced at ₦525 each. The offer opened on September 14 and closes on October 13, 2026, while the bank says investors should review the prospectus before deciding.

FirstBank is serving as a receiving bank for the initial public offering of Dangote Petroleum Refinery & Petrochemicals FZE, offering eligible customers several channels through which they can subscribe. The offer comprises 4.1 billion ordinary shares priced at ₦525 each. The minimum subscription is 10 shares, requiring ₦5,250, and the offer opened on September 14 and is scheduled to close on October 13, 2026.

FirstBank said qualifying retail investors may be eligible for bonus shares, subject to the terms and conditions in the approved prospectus. It presented the offer as an opportunity for investors to consider starting, expanding or diversifying their investments. Customers can subscribe digitally through FirstMobile, FirstOnline and the LIT App, with PayByLink also available.

Corporate customers can use FirstDirect, while branches and FirstMonie agents provide physical access. The bank said its role was to provide access and support rather than to make an investment recommendation. It urged prospective investors to read the approved prospectus carefully, understand the terms and risks, and seek independent professional advice where necessary.

FirstBank’s disclaimer states that it is acting solely as a receiving bank. The communication does not constitute investment advice or a recommendation to buy securities, and any decision should reflect an investor’s financial circumstances, goals and future plans.
