Her father, Ravikumar, said she accidentally touched wires running close to a classroom window. He alleged that the principal and teachers failed to move her to hospital after she called for help and were negligent in providing medical assistance. Rajitha’s parents and local residents took her to a private hospital in Madanapalle for treatment.
Residents demanded an inquiry into electrical safety arrangements at the school and action over the alleged delay in assistance.
