Solapur division schedules 102 festival special train trips

The Central Railway’s Solapur Division will run 102 festival special train trips between October 10 and November 24 to accommodate additional passenger demand during the Dasara and Deepavali season. The services will operate on routes connecting Kolhapur and Kalaburagi, CSMT Mumbai and Chennai Beach, and CSMT Mumbai and Latur, according to a revised press release issued by the division. The largest allocation is 64 trips between Kolhapur and Kalaburagi.
On that route, the special service will operate daily except Fridays from October 10 to November 15. Train 01451 will leave Kolhapur at 6.10 a.m. and arrive at Kalaburagi at 4.10 p.m.

Twelve weekly trips will operate between Mumbai and Chennai Beach. The outbound train will leave CSMT Mumbai at 12.35 a.m. on Wednesdays from October 14 to November 18, with the return service departing Chennai Beach at 4 a.m.
on Thursdays from October 15 to November 19. The remaining 26 trips will connect CSMT Mumbai and Latur on Tuesdays and Thursdays from October 13 to November 24. The trains will carry AC III-tier, Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.
Reservations will open on September 27 at computerised reservation centres and through the IRCTC website and RailOne app. The services will operate at special charges. Passengers can check intermediate timings through the Indian Railways enquiry system, RailOne and NTES apps.
