After 70 days of competition, nine Big Brother Naija season 11 housemates remain in the contest for the N160m prize. Punch Nigeria reports that the season featured alliances, disciplinary action, strategic advantages, a fake eviction and repeated rule changes before the finalists entered the concluding programme.

Big Brother Naija season 11 has reached its grand finale after 70 days marked by evictions, alliances, disciplinary action and unexpected twists, Punch Nigeria reports. Nine housemates remained in contention for the N160m prize: Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram. The season began on July 26 with 24 contestants, who entered the house with different strategies and ambitions.

The competition included changing rules, secret missions, face-to-face nominations and punishments. Friendships developed into alliances, while disagreements over chores, food, belongings, nominations and perceived disrespect created tensions among the contestants. One of the most significant disciplinary developments involved Nomy, who was disqualified after repeatedly disobeying Big Brother’s instructions.

She had previously received a strike and a final warning. After another violation connected to her punishment, she was ordered to pack her belongings and leave. The eviction process also removed several prominent contestants.

Mercedes and Martins were the first evictees, while Abi and Araga later left during a double eviction. Yusuf, Bells and Chimsom Chuka were evicted in a triple eviction on September 20. Chimsom had served twice as Head of House during his 56 days in the competition.

Barry altered the final stage after winning the Week Eight Head of House challenge and securing Ultimate Veto Power. He used the veto to rescue Aikou and later chose “Immunity For All” when offered a choice between immunity for all or none. A fake eviction involving Ricky, Tram and Temi Nkem then briefly unsettled the house before their return.

The supplied report ended while describing a dispute over a black shirt involving Keivo and Tram. It did not provide the eventual winner.
