Channels Television publishes weekly quiz on Nigerian and global headlines

Channels Television has published a weekly quiz inviting readers to test their recall of recent news events. The 10-question quiz covers a range of subjects, including politics, security, entertainment, sports and international affairs. Its stated focus is on whether readers remember details from the week’s headlines rather than simply keeping up with current events.

The title highlights one football question: readers are asked to identify the team that handed Nigeria’s Super Eagles their first defeat in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign. The available source material does not provide the answer to that question or list the other nine questions. It says readers can take the challenge, check their answers and share their scores.

The quiz was published by Channels Television and is presented as a general news-recall feature rather than a report on a new event. Its subjects span domestic and international affairs, with sport included among the categories. No further details about the match referred to in the headline, Nigeria’s qualifying position or the competing team are included in the supplied material.

As a result, the source supports only a description of the quiz and its stated football focus. The feature is designed for readers who have followed the week’s coverage across several sections. Channels Television describes remembering the details as a separate challenge from keeping up with the headlines, and frames the 10-question format as a way for readers to measure their recall.

The supplied text contains no scores, participant responses or editorial assessment of the week’s news. It also does not identify the date of the quiz beyond its description as a weekly feature.
