Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said the NDA government was committed to welfare, development and good governance while inaugurating ₹11,085 crore of works under the Palle Panduga-3.0 programme. He outlined village infrastructure, housing, connectivity and investment plans.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has reaffirmed the NDA government’s commitment to welfare, development and good governance in the State. He was speaking at the launch of the Palle Panduga-3.0 programme in SPSR Nellore district, where development works worth ₹11,085 crore were inaugurated.

Mr. Naidu said ministers and elected representatives were servants of the people rather than landlords. He described the programme as the beginning of a wider village-development effort.

According to the Chief Minister, cement-concrete roads were being laid in front of houses, while cattle sheds and drainage projects were also being built. Mr. Naidu said the government was working to provide housing, land, electricity and solar panels, and aimed to use waste to create wealth and reduce economic inequality.

He said ₹50,000 crore of development work had been launched in urban areas, alongside activity in rural regions. He credited Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan with helping conduct three Palle Panduga programmes and said Gram Sabhas had been held simultaneously in 13,326 villages.

He also cited promotions for 10,000 Panchayat Raj employees and the release of ₹4,136 crore from 15th Finance Commission funds. The Chief Minister said the government was addressing drinking-water concerns and protecting horticultural crops amid the continuing impact of El Niño. He announced plans to develop Dagadarthi airport and improve rail and road links to make Nellore and Prakasam districts a logistics hub.

He also referred to expected investment of ₹1 lakh crore through a BPCL plant, the arrival of defence industries and plans to distribute additional housing pattas.
