Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is scheduled to inaugurate Karimnagar’s Integrated District Offices Complex and lay foundation stones for development projects worth about ₹345.78 crore in Sircilla. The visit is politically significant because it is his first to the constituency as chief minister; it is represented by BRS leader K.T. Rama Rao.

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is scheduled to visit the former composite Karimnagar district on Wednesday for development programmes and a public meeting. In Karimnagar, he will inaugurate the Integrated District Offices Complex, also known as the new Collectorate, and review development initiatives with district officials.

Issues expected to be discussed include the Manair Riverfront Development Project, civic infrastructure and the dumping yard in Karimnagar, according to sources cited in the report. More than 500 police personnel have been deployed for security arrangements. The chief minister will then travel to Sircilla, where he is scheduled to lay foundation stones for development works valued at about ₹345.78 crore.

The projects include expansion of the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple complex and pilgrim amenities at Vemulawada. The first phase of additional works at the temple complex is estimated to cost ₹99.4 crore. Reddy is also expected to participate in a padayatra before addressing a public meeting in the textile town.

The Sircilla visit carries political significance because it is Reddy’s first visit to the constituency as chief minister. Sircilla is represented by K.T. Rama Rao, the working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi.

Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar, Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Adluri Laxman Kumar, along with other Congress leaders and legislators, visited the venues on Tuesday to review arrangements.
