NIPSS moves Nigeria’s Orange Economy summit to December

The National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies has postponed its National Summit and Exhibition on Nigeria’s Orange Economy from October to December 2026. Organisers said the change would allow them to strengthen the programme, widen stakeholder participation and improve the event’s expected impact and outcomes.
The National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies has rescheduled its National Summit and Exhibition on the Orange Economy from October to December 2026, according to the organisers. The summit will now take place from December 8 to 10 at the Admiralty Event Centre on Ahmadu Bello Way, Victoria Island, Lagos. It was initially scheduled for October 6 to 8 at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts, formerly the National Theatre, in Lagos.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the organisers said the postponement would provide additional time to strengthen the programme, expand stakeholder participation and improve the summit’s overall impact and expected outcomes. The event is being organised by NIPSS in collaboration with Bruit Costaud Government Affairs Et Al Limited. It is expected to bring together policymakers, investors, creative and cultural industry leaders, entrepreneurs, academics, development partners and other stakeholders.
The discussions will focus on opportunities and challenges in Nigeria’s Orange Economy, which covers economic activities driven by creativity, culture and intellectual property. These include film, music, fashion, publishing, advertising, design, visual arts, entertainment and other cultural industries. The organisers said the summit would examine how the creative and cultural industries could contribute more to economic diversification, job creation, innovation, investment and sustainable development.
They also thanked partners, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, media organisations and registered participants for their support, apologised for any inconvenience caused by the change, and urged stakeholders to continue backing the rescheduled event.
