Temi Nkem wins Big Brother Naija Season 11 after 70 days of twists and rivalries

Temi Nkem has won Big Brother Naija’s Season 11, the “Show Ya Sef” edition, taking 25.87 per cent of the final vote. She finished ahead of Aikou and Sheba after a 70-day contest involving 24 housemates, a fake eviction, changing powers and a season marked by disqualifications and a voluntary departure.
Temi Nkem has emerged as the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 11, ending a 70-day contest that began with 24 housemates and featured nominations, task competitions, shifting house powers and several major twists. Premium Times said she secured 25.87 per cent of the final vote. Aikou finished first runner-up with 23.68 per cent, while Sheba recorded 9.80 per cent and was named second runner-up, according to the same report.
Punch Nigeria also identified Aikou and Sheba as the final challengers who finished behind Nkem. Nkem, whose real name is Temitope Chigbue, entered the “Show Ya Sef” season as one of the original contestants. Channels Television described her as 21 and said she was born and raised in London, with Nigerian roots and an association with Delta State.
Before entering the house, it said, she was a student and lifestyle content creator. Her time on the show was shaped by both ordinary house moments and controversy. Punch highlighted a memorable custard episode, her involvement in the house’s BB Bucks economy and a kiss with Tram.
The report said the relationship attracted attention because Tram had a relationship outside the house while Nkem was getting to know another housemate, Keivo. One of the season’s central twists was a fake eviction. During the ninth live show, Nkem, Tram and Ricky were announced as evicted, but Biggie later revealed that the decision was not genuine.
The three contestants were allowed to return and continue competing, giving Nkem another route to the final week. Channels reported that Nkem also survived a later eviction after Barry used Ultimate Veto Power to activate “Immunity for All”, cancelling that week’s eviction and public vote. Her supporters, known as the “Teminators”, celebrated her victory at the live show, a fan park and online.
The final stage saw Barry, Oyin, Ricky, Flora, Tram and Bluethopia leave before the final three were reduced to Nkem, Aikou and Sheba. Premium Times said the winner receives ₦90 million in cash and a new SUV, while ₦10 million from the original ₦100 million cash prize was allocated to the Most Influential Player of the Week fund. Channels, however, described the overall prize package as ₦160 million, saying a full breakdown was still expected after the finale.
