Kerala vigilance bureau to launch youth anti-corruption campaign

The Kerala Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau will launch its State-wide “Project Zero—Blow the Whistle Against Corruption” campaign in Kozhikode on September 28, according to the programme details released by The Hindu. The range-level inauguration will take place at the JDT Islam campus in Vellimadukunnu at 2 p.m. Home and Vigilance Minister Ramesh Chennithala is scheduled to inaugurate the initiative by blowing a whistle and distributing badges to Vigilance Commandos.
The campaign seeks to encourage greater participation by young people in efforts to build a corruption-free and transparent Kerala. Its slogan is “Gen-Z for Integrity, for the Kerala of Tomorrow”. K.
Jayanth, MLA, will preside over the function, while Vigilance Director Manoj Abraham will deliver the introductory address. Actor Neeraj Madhav is listed as the chief guest and will administer the Youth Integrity Pledge. Scholar and poet Soman Kadaloor will attend as guest of honour.

Students of the JDT Islam Orphanage and Education Institution are scheduled to stage a five-minute dance performance titled “Nerinte Chuvadukal” and a 10-minute play titled “Jeevithathinu Vilangu Theerthavar”. The Kozhikode event is described as the range-level inauguration of the wider State initiative.
