Big Brother Naija Season 11 reaches its finale with nine housemates competing for a ₦160 million prize package. The season included the Gambit twist, multiple evictions, a disqualification and strategic decisions by Barry, who won two Head of House contests and used a veto to protect the house.

Big Brother Naija Season 11, titled “Show Ya Sef”, is scheduled to conclude on Sunday evening after more than 70 days of tasks, nominations, relationships and evictions. Nine housemates remain in contention for the ₦160 million prize package: Aikou, Barry, Bluethopia, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Tram. Voting closed on Friday, leaving the result to viewers’ final choices.

The season began on July 26 with 24 housemates. Aikou and Flora were initially designated as Gambits, a twist that guaranteed them places in the finale while temporarily preventing them from competing for the main prize. Their status changed in Week Six, when both became eligible to win.

The competition also featured a series of departures. Martins and Mercedes left in Week Two, followed by Kamsy, Cassi, Sultex, Goddessa, Gerard, Abi and Araga. Nomy was disqualified in Week Seven after repeated rule violations, while Keivo was disqualified on September 29 following a physical confrontation with Tram.

Barry emerged as one of the season’s most consequential players. He won the Week Eight Head of House contest and obtained Ultimate Veto Power. Instead of using it only for himself, he chose “Immunity For All”, cancelling the planned eviction and protecting the housemates.

He later won the final Head of House challenge. The remaining finalists have built different cases for victory. Aikou is associated with humour and thoughtful conversations, while Temi Nkem has remained highly visible.

Sheba has combined leadership and task performance, and Tram’s path has been marked by resilience. Flora adapted after the Gambit ended, while Bluethopia, Oyin and Ricky relied on personality, consistency or relationships. The winner will be announced at the finale.
