Kumaraswamy asks Election Commission to explain reported differences

Union Minister and JD(S) leader H.D. Kumaraswamy has asked the Election Commission of India (ECI) to publicly clarify reports of differences among the three officials at its helm. Mr.

Kumaraswamy said. He urged the ECI to place the facts before the public and protect the dignity of the institution. He described the Commission as a responsible constitutional body that had played an important role in sustaining democracy in India over the past 78 years.
