Temi Nkem wins BBNaija Season 11 after 70-day run

Temi Nkem has won Big Brother Naija Season 11 after 70 days of competition, securing the crown ahead of Aikou and Sheba in the reality show’s final stage. Nkem, whose real name is Temitope Chigbue, received 25.87 per cent of the final votes, according to the results reported by Punch. Aikou finished as the first runner-up with 23.68 per cent, while Sheba was named second runner-up.

The winner entered the “Show Ya Sef” edition as one of 24 contestants. During her time in the house, she became known for expressing her views openly and for taking part in several of the season’s most discussed episodes. Among those moments was a dispute involving the house’s BB Bucks economy.

Nkem took Aikou’s BB Bucks after finding them on the floor near the lockers, an incident that prompted reactions among fellow housemates. She was also involved in BB Bucks discussions concerning Ricky and Keivo. Her relationship with Tram generated further attention after the pair kissed in the house.

Tram later said the kiss happened several times. The episode became a subject of conversation because Tram had a relationship outside the house, while Nkem was getting to know Keivo. Nkem also survived a major twist during the ninth live show, when she, Tram and Ricky were announced as evicted.

Biggie later revealed that the eviction was fake, allowing the trio to return to the competition and continue their campaign. The winner was also recognised through humorous house awards, including “What Just Happened”, “Unpredictable” and “Big Brother Please”. She eventually outlasted the other finalists, including Bluethopia, Sheba and Aikou.

Nkem’s prize package is worth ₦160m and includes ₦90m in cash, a brand-new SUV and other sponsored prizes. Her victory makes her the fifth female winner in BBNaija history.
